1. Mega Darkrai ex SAR — the card everyone is watching
Mega Darkrai ex SAR (114/081, Abyss Eye M5) tops this week’s watchlist and remains the standout across our store: 66 unique viewers over July 2–15, up 57% on the prior fortnight, and the #2 most-viewed single storewide (behind a promo card). It’s a rare case where attention and price point in opposite directions — the Near Mint market has fallen from a US$589.99 peak (May 29) to US$345.36 (July 15), about −41%, as post-launch supply catches up.

2. Miltank AR — the quiet, affordable climber
Miltank AR (199/172) from the beloved VSTAR Universe (s12a) set is the most bought-into card on this week’s list: 25 unique viewers (up from 6) and nine add-to-carts, the highest cart activity of the five. At a few dollars, it’s an easy card to actually add to an order rather than just watch.

After a flat June around US$4.7, the Near Mint price stepped up through early July to US$5.52 — roughly +18% in three weeks and about +55% over the full ~90 days (it traded near US$3.5 in mid-April). 3. Blastoise (25th Anniversary Promo) — a Kanto classic drawing eyes
The Blastoise 003/025 from the 25th Anniversary Promo Card Pack jumped from 3 to 21 unique viewers in two weeks — a genuine spike in curiosity for a Kanto starter that never really goes out of style. One honest caveat up front: this is a scarce promo and it trades thinly, so treat it as a watch-and-set-an-alert card rather than something you’ll always find in stock.

The market stepped from about US$54 in late May to US$71.41 by early July and has held there. But with only three Near Mint sales tracked across 90 days, that price is a thin reference, not a deep market — exactly what you’d expect from a promo. 4. Ceruledge AR — the all-round mover
If one card sums up “trending,” it’s Ceruledge AR (109/106) from Super Electric Breaker (SV8). In-store viewers went from 1 to 14 in two weeks with six add-to-carts, and the market backs the interest up: the Near Mint price is up about +65% over 90 days, it’s the most actively traded card on this list, and even graded copies are firming.

The climb was steepest in late May and June (from about US$6.2 in mid-April to a US$10.45 high on June 26), and the price has since settled into a US$10.2–10.5 band — a plateau on a higher shelf rather than a reversal. Trading volume was heaviest early and has eased to a steady pace as the price stabilized:

5. Mega Kangaskhan ex SAR — the Mega era’s origin, rediscovered
Mega Kangaskhan ex SAR (089/063) comes from Mega Symphonia (M1S), the set that opened the Japanese Mega Evolution series back on August 1, 2025. It went from no store viewers at all to 13 in two weeks, and “mega kangaskhan” showed up as a brand-new term in our on-site search — a sign that, as newer Mega sets like Abyss Eye keep the theme hot, collectors are circling back to where the series began.

There are no stock photos, so the card in the picture is the card you receive. How do you decide which cards make the weekly watchlist?
We start from our own store data — which Japanese singles people searched for and viewed most in the last two weeks — then cross-check each against the prices and sales volumes we track daily across the wider market. Ranking is by unique in-store viewers (July 2–15, 2026 for this edition); price moves and cart activity are shown as context. It’s a demand-and-data list, not a prediction of what will go up.
Why do some of these look cheaper than the market price I’ve seen?
Our singles are sourced in Japan, and Japanese listing prices often sit below the international (TCGplayer) reference that English-speaking collectors usually see. The gap isn’t universal and it moves with exchange rates and stock, so we show it as a dated snapshot rather than a promise — always check the live listing for the real number.
A card I want is sold out. What now?
Most of our listings are single copies, so cards sell and get relisted as we source new ones. The search links on this page always show whatever is currently in stock, and following @jarisestore is the quickest way to hear about restocks.
Are these Japanese or English cards?
Every card here is the Japanese printing. For cards that also exist in English, the Japanese version is usually the earlier print and is known for consistent print quality — which matters if grading is a goal — though which one is “right” comes down to what you collect.
